It was so refreshing for me during these past two weeks to listen and to watch the least amount of Mainstream Corporate News and Programs, as well as none of the superficial hype of the Local Channels! After all, and in looking at these United States, as well as many other places across our Planet, it is the same Shit-show continuing ad nauseam! That gave me time off to reflect once again on the many centuries our World has been through, and, sadly, it is the same old story of One Egotistical Leader and his sycophants desiring to Dominate, Occupy, Incarcerate, Murder, Plunder Resources, Enforce Laws, Rules and Regulations in order to shape the environment in the way that they deem best, and, at the end of the day, their Success (so to speak) did not last, although it created horrible conditions for the populace in the meantime. So it will be with Any Leader/Politician today who believes, or is led to believe, that he will Alter The World! It Will Not Happen! For, unless there is Justice, Equality, Respect, Dignity, Legality and Cooperation amongst All Human Beings then Dictatorships and Authoritarians will not prevail, and Violence in any and all of its forms will increase as we are witnessing that it is Daily! This is what History has taught us, and this repetition of the same Shit-shows has not changed as yet! When will we learn? Never? I can’t figure this out, as there are many things that I haven’t been able to figure out about us humans!

Meanwhile, there is always a History Before The Recent History that we have been witnessing for about a decade now, which is to say that the Groundwork had already been laid out for Trump’s Vulgar, Abusive, Cruel,  Lawless and Obnoxious Shit-show! I have my own take on the main aspect of what is going on right now: most of us are aware that it has been the case, since 1948 especially, of the ongoing and very close relationship between the US, Israel and the UK (whose divide-and-rule colonist policies pitted humans against each other as never before and continues doing so to the present since the US and Israel have adopted these same evil colonist, racist control tactics). The aforementioned three nations have now added Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Qatar to their triumvirate relationship thus making it the Richest, Most Oil-producing, Most Militarily Strong and Most Powerful Convergence of Interests in the World today. Who would have ever believed that a decade ago? And, why, you might wonder have they all joined forces? And, why are they especially meddling in some African Countries and in Venezuela? I believe it is because the Six Aforementioned Nations have One Main Common Goal: to end all Resistance, Terrorism and Dissent within their own nations, as well as in their own regions. One strategy is to ensure that Iran will not be able to Sustain itself financially through the Drug Trade and Dubious Other Methods of selling its Oil and, hence, the Venezuelan connection! Get it? Moreover, and specifically in the case of Iran, to ensure that it cannot anymore support its Surrogates such as Hizballah, Hamas, Islamic Jihad and all their likes some of whom are Legitimate Freedom Fighters, other have their Specific Ideology religious or otherwise, and others yet are simply Hangers-on. Supporting the Six Aforementioned Nations are, Mainly: Oligarchs, Billionaires, as well as Technology and Media Corporations who can only Thrive and Succeed when there is No Resistance to their Greedy Agenda. Therefore, they have to Control the Hoi Polloi with Massive Surveillance – human and machine – as well as the as yet embryonic AI intrusions into every aspect of our personal as well as digital life. Hence, their Alliance with Political Leadership. Therefore, Trump’s going after Venezuela is definitely Not To stem the flow of drugs to these United States. This is only a smoke-screen, because as long as there is a Demand there will be a Supply, and that supply can come in on Private Jets and Yachts, or in any other way that the Drug Traffickers have become Masters at configuring. So, no, it is not Drugs. What I believe is that Crushing Resistance in any of its forms is the real objective here as we Humans are turned into Timid Sheeple! Brave New World? 1984? Animal Farm? They seem resonant these terrible days and not far-fetched anymore.

On another topic: one sunny day, I took a walk in my neighborhood which is a lovely, clean, quiet suburb where the detached homes are owned by mostly middle-aged and old people. It never ceases to amaze me when I see that most of the residents park their cars on the street, or in their driveways when they all have a garage? Why? Well, their garages are used for storage, together with the attics and ample spaces within the homes. How much Stuff do we human beings accumulate in our lifetimes? And, do we really need all of it? I know, from having down-sized a few times in my lifetime, that I arrived to a certain age when having less and less made me feel so much lighter, freer, unencumbered. I think what I’m trying to say today is that most of us humans do not plan for old age, the Main Reason being that we do not want to think of dying. Ever! Ever? At the end of the day, we are all going to die: Authoritarians, Dictators, Corporate Leaders, Tech CEOs, Media Personalities, and All Of Us, and we’re not taking Anything with us! So wouldn’t it be a much better way to leave this Planet knowing that we have Evolved, that we Learned from our own mistakes and through the Teachings and Sayings of all those Wise Humans who came before us, and that we lived our lives honestly and to the best of our abilities, which is so much more Noble than leaving Humanity with the Bitter Taste of a Shit-show as all those Greedy, Arrogant, Amoral Political and Other Leaders on the World’s Stage today are doing??!! We have to Protest and to Resist and to Never Give Up!

I honestly did not want to write about Politics today. I was planning another subject altogether, especially that two weeks ago I did not – and for the first time since 2013 – publish anything as I was Unmotivated and Uninspired. However, I woke up two days ago and felt that there is a palpable change in the air from the Total Snafu (a situation marked by errors or confusion; problem that has ballooned) we have been living these past few months! Did you feel it too? I’m watching and listening to the same news that you already know. So, often I feel that I am being redundant and, maybe even boring. Forgive me, but here goes with my take:

During this past month, and more so than ever, events and happenings have been enough to drive my mind into quite a paranoid state! On the one hand we have our US President presiding from his recently tastelessly gilded Oval Office over Meetings, Interviews and Exchanges with Foreign Leaders, Oligarchs and CEOs, as well as his fawning, adulating Department Heads declaring that: “We Are The Hottest Country On The Planet!” He also announces that money is flowing into our coffers as never before; factories are being built; industry is coming back; the stock market is soaring; jobs are abounding; criminals, rapists and gang members are being rounded up; non-documented humans are being shipped out of the country to be tortured, raped and, maybe, disappeared; we have made peace between Eight? Countries; the wars in Ukraine, Russia, Israel, Palestine – where there is NO Ceasefire and a Covert Genocide, Starvation, Uprooting, Displacement Campaign is ongoing with full force –  are being solved and everyone will be happy and on and on and on of What? Delusions? Wishful Thinking? Fantasies? Exaggerations? Outright Lies? Might it be that we are all wrong, and that in a few months, as some are saying, things will be just Fantastic? Or, What Exactly, because on the other hand I look up facts and figures, honest news items, reliable investigative journalism pieces, actual videos from on-the-ground reporters, real Humans talking about how Tough it is out there these days; how they are worried about their and their children’s future; about their grocery, electric and other bills; about the diminishing, ruthless, merciless healthcare in the country; about the high cost of rents and housing; about how we are being taxed for the very air that we breath and I wonder What Is So Hot About All That? Moreover, we now have the added worry of the Ghosts of all our Wars – especially Dubya’s! – coming home to haunt us and, as one example, assail our brave National Guard in Washington DC, killing one and another in critical condition? Heartbreaking! Tragic!!

I have said it previously in my blogs, but forgive me for repeating it again today: Oh, What A Tangled Web We Weave When We So Choose To Deceive! And, it seems to me that the evil tangled web that Trump has woven around himself is beginning to come apart, isn’t it? And, again, it seems that: He who digs a Hole For His Brother Falls Right Into It as many of our Moral, Ethical Judges are proving every day by repudiating Trump’s Vengeful Lawsuits, his Petty Retributions, and how he’s falling into the holes that he has been digging for his so-called enemies! Respect For All Those Judges putting Country and Constitution ahead of Party! Respect also for every Senator, Congressman/woman, Investigative Journalist, Protestors, Actors, Comedians, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Massie, Boebert and Mace and all those Speaking Out, especially about the shameful Epstein/Maxwell Scandal. Yes, Respect!

Respect also goes to Mayor Elect Mamdani for his chutzpah requesting to meet with President Trump. I was fearfully holding my breath lest he be Zelenskyy-ed! Seeing the two of them amicably together in the Oval Office? Are my eyes deceiving me, I wondered? Listening to them praising each other? How long will this cordiality last? Nevertheless and for Whatever Reason, I thought to myself, this President is quite capable of Choosing Another Path for Himself and the Nation. He can do that! He can do What Is Right rather than what some of the Evil-doers around him are dictating! Is he too Beholden to them perchance? What are they Holding Over Him? Or, perhaps Karma and the Universe may yet intervene and inspire him? Or, am I hallucinating now? My, oh my!

However, in an Unexplainable and Totally Weird Way Trump’s presence on our World’s Stage has managed to expose a whole lot of Rot that has been festering for far too long in our own country, and in the world, where the  Corrupt, the Ins and the Connected all over the Planet are living a Carefree Life, while most of us, the hoi polloi, are Struggling with Angst and Barely Making It, especially recently. Maybe inadvertently his looming presence has managed to expose this alarming disarray all over and how No One addressed it in Wise and Efficient ways (except none as loudly and persistently as the Conscience of America: Bernie Sanders and the Conscience of the United Kingdom: Jeremy Corbyn): the Greed; the Arrogance; the Hedge Fund Managers who have their Sinister Noses up Every Institution, University, Corporation, Pharmaceutical Company, Health Insurance Corporations, Banks etc. etc. leading them to lobby and bribe every one of our Corrupt Politicians, to raise the prices of everything and change and rewrite policies to the advantage of Greed; Glaring Disparity; Unforgivable Injustice; Unfair Inequality; Merciless Cruelty and Inhumanity; Violence; Ineptness; Incompetence and Corruption of Governments almost Everywhere – and that’s not all of it!

What gives me a glimmer of Hope, though, is that Only The American People have the Ability and the Potential for Spear-heading a Movement that can Inspire The World and that can reign in the insidious Authoritarianism, Injustice and Arrogance! Surely, if any Nation can do that it is this Democracy (flawed as it is), armed with this American Constitution that has Inspired me and so many across the world? Surely? Surely!!
